    Dear Jessica,

Have you imagined how beautiful it could be, to soothe your guests with gorgeous music and set the perfect mood as they are seated; music to accompany you down the aisle with just the right song? I do enjoy bringing fantastic music to special occasions- I’ve played so many, including more than 800 weddings, all sizes, indoors and out, and I’d love to play for you all. I’ve seen the harp magic happen for listeners over and over again. It never seems to fail, and that’s what I love- it’s always a wonderful effect for listeners.

Pricing is straightforward- I go strictly by the hour and services requested, to make it easier to tailor to the budget. With a huge repertoire to draw on, you can get just the mood you desire. A $100 down payment will hold the date, and the balance is due as services are completed. $300 for the first hour, only $50 for subsequent 1/2 hours. No charge for amplification or travel…and loyal assistance and passionate playing!

I arrive at least 30 minutes before my start time, and can provide all music needed. I’ll set-up and be ready to begin playing the prelude as guests arrive. The entire ceremony, including prelude, should all fit nicely into the one hour minimum charge. That fee also includes consultation and assistance in choosing music, in a one-hour session at my house if you wish. An in-person meeting is not essential. Our area is very popular for special occasions, many of which are planned from far away. With my system, it can easily be done by phone and email, stress-free I hope.

I want this to be the easiest and most enjoyable part of wedding planning. And unlike most everything else, plans can be changed right up to the last minute – I just need plenty of notice to learn new songs- which I love to do. Sound samples at evewatters.com, which you’ve already encountered, and YouTube also has a TV interview I did a while back. I’ve attached some further info, including sample repertoire, which is just the tip of the iceberg, plus happy to learn new ones when possible.

Let me know what you think; I know you have a lot of plans to juggle and consider. Be in touch any time!

    Blessings,

    Eve

    Hello Jessica!

We’d be honored to perform for your wedding here here in Harrisonburg! We have played in the Montpelier Room before and know the campus well. We have packages that start at $350 for ceremony alone (or $550 for ceremony and cocktail hour!) Please email me at thebloomtrio@gmail.com if you’re interested in professional string music (never students or amateurs) for your wedding day!
    Best,
    Katie
